In this section you can find the information how the dates and periods are being used in Profit365. When issuing new invoice, dates and periods are set by default depending on current date. Dates and periods can be modified by user unless the button "Post" has been used.
Dates and their definition
InvoiceDate required |
The date on which an invoice for a good is issued, which is usually the same day the good is sent to the buyer. Current date is set by default. Type: GUID |
DueDate required |
The date by which payment should be made. Payment dates are set relative to the invoice date. By default 7 days after invoice date, customization of company settings is possible. Type: GUID |
DateOfAccounting required |
Date by which accounting transaction will be recorded into company's books. The dateAccounting is set relative to the invoice date. Type: GUID |
DateOfDelivery required |
Date by which a seller fulfills the obligations of a contract. Periods are set relative to the dateDelivery. Type: GUID |
VATPeriod required |
The period covered is referred to as the tax period. "YEAR - MONTH" format. Periods are set relative to the dateDelivery. Type: GUID |
